Capacity building workshop: training of women and youth in agribusiness in Kenya 20^th -24^th May 2024, Cohort 1 & 2.

The Eastern African Farmers’ Federation (EAFF) is implementing of ‘’ Catalysing Competitive Agricultural Women and Youth Enterprises in Kenya and Tanzania’’ project for one year funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

The main goal of this project is to strengthen the capacities of rural women and youth in Kenya and Tanzania, allowing them to set up/scale up and run profitable agri-enterprises that ensure their employment and lead to their wealth generation for livelihood improvement.  Targets: women and youth groups in Kenya and Tanzania. It is against this background that EAFF is convening a capacity building workshop: training of women and youth in agribusiness in Kenya in the week of 20^th – 24^th May 2024.  This training session is aimed at equipping the selected lead women and youth (Trainer of Trainers) from different farmer organizations (FO) and SMEs with better entrepreneurial knowledge for them to run profitable and sustainable businesses.
