The EAFF President Ms Elizabeth Nsimadala represented the farmer’s voice at the AFSH2024 summit in three sessions;

•  Finance, Food and Fertilizer.  How the debt crisis affects food and Farm inputs and markets in Africa organized by AUC, AfDB and AFFM
• Fertilizer and Soil Health initiative within CAADP Framework. Sowing Success – the role of Soil Health and partnerships in boosting food security organized by AUC and the Government of Norway
• Completing the integrated Soil Fertility management principles organic and auxiliary inputs organized by AUC, IITA and GIZ
• The President Ms Elizabeth emphasized the need for mutual partnerships and treated each other with respect and as equal partners. We cannot talk about Soil Health and food security minus farmers…we need to change the narrative, farmers MUST be on the table.
